My aim is to present a method for exploring design, technology, software, history ... whatever, using an existing building as a starting point. But thanks for the input and the insight into the way the shape was originally conceived. Could be an interesting discussion for a future post.Andy Milburnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292205727891265423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8416077501952449955.post-76151289943195588682014-02-04T20:05:08.061+04:002014-02-04T20:05:08.061+04:00nice model and explanation... and my two cents jus...nice model and explanation... and my two cents just because you mention that this is a example for architecture students: the shell it isn't a series of circles for a vertical loft... is a profile for a revolution form: http://i59.tinypic.com/34pba85.jpg with a lot of references points for a series of arcs...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8416077501952449955.post-3726410569356609692014-02-04T12:14:36.734+04:002014-02-04T12:14:36.734+04:00HI Dave. Seemed promising at first, but the grids going the "other way" don't line up properly. It's a shame the "select row" feature from ordinary curtain walls doesn't work for pattern based panels. Would love to see it done in Dynamo though.Andy Milburnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292205727891265423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8416077501952449955.post-91345062316303856902014-02-03T23:24:34.123+04:002014-02-03T23:24:34.123+04:00Time for a Dynamo graph to select and change the d...Time for a Dynamo graph to select and change the dark panels? :) (PS: I don't know how to go about it, but sounds like a good goal to pursue!).Dave Baldacchinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00431940617680243953noreply@blogger.com
